Naturally Beautiful Christmas Wreaths

I’ve arranged for an amazing young creative, Lucy Reid, of Foraged and Fleurs to share with you, her techniques to create a naturally wonderful Boho-style Christmas wreath. In this class, we’ll gather here at Ecobotanica, surrounded by nature’s gifts, cooling breezes, birdsong and a whole collection of delightful materials to sparkle your senses. Lucy will show you how to create a wreath similar to those she’s famous around Brisbane for… She uses natural foraged and found treasures as well and dried foliage and flowers to create something unique and beautiful and typically Australian. (Not a wisp of tinsel in sight!)

Lucy takes you step by step from the selection of materials and weaving of the wreath base using local seasonal vines to the finished product.

Lucy’s a fun, enthusiastic teacher, with a flair for helping you to help nature shine at it’s best.  She’ll show you how to select and add long lasting foliage to your wreath, including  naturally dried Australian-grown flowers and signature foraged finds.

You’ll take home a wreath that will be your own unique, decorative nod to Christmas and will bring pleasure for many years to come.

While you are whiling away your afternoon and getting crafty with Lucy, sip on one of my fabulous festive drinks like non-alcoholic Elderflower Champagne and enjoy some delightful Christmassy treats.

I’ll also have organic garden products, and a range of small gifts from our garden to you on sale including our Silverash Honey, Fresh, Dried, And Pressed Edible Flowers and lots more. It’s going to be quite the afternoon, and a simple, creative and calm way to enjoy yourself away from Christmas preparation frenzy.
