Educational places from around the world
Take a look at some of the exciting alternatives in environmental and horticultural education for adults and children from my journeys around the world.
I find that the parents are just as excited as the children in exploring games, fun concepts and secret paths as the children.
As adults, a well-designed and informed creative area can take us back to our childhood, sow the seed for new ideas and confirm our connection with nature. It also creates the opportunity to explore our own interests throughout life.
My next trip in March is to the Ian Potter Children’s Garden in Melbourne where I will be exploring the establishment of this garden with one of the founders. Then I’m off to the Eden project in Cornwall, visiting the creative staff and gardens there.
